No. KoalaLending is a lead generation and marketing service. We are not a lender, not a broker, and not affiliated with any bank, and we make no credit decisions. We pass the information you choose to submit to lenders and marketing partners in our network, and they decide whether to contact you.
02What does this cost me?
Nothing. The service is free to use and we never charge you for a loan or product. We are compensated by lenders and marketing partners when we transmit consumer information to them, and that compensation may influence which partners appear.
03Am I guaranteed to be approved?
No, and anyone telling you otherwise is not being straight with you. Not every consumer connects with a lender, and no lender in our network is obligated to make an offer. Approval, rate, loan amount, and funding are set solely by the lender.
04How much can I request, and for how long?
Loan amounts range from $100 to $35,000, though not all lenders can provide loans up to $35,000. Repayment periods run from a 91 day minimum up to a 72 month maximum, with an APR range of 5.99% to 35.99% for qualified customers.* Your actual terms depend on the lender.
05Will this affect my credit score?
Checking your options here does not affect your credit score. By continuing you provide written instructions to us and to lenders and marketing partners in our network to obtain your consumer credit report through a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your score. A lender you go on to apply with may later run a hard inquiry on its own terms.
06Who exactly receives my information?
Three named categories: lenders, marketing partners, and aggregators who route submissions into their own lender networks. We limit what we collect and share it only once you give permission. The Privacy Policy carries the full detail, and you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time.
07How fast could I be funded?
Some lenders fund as soon as the next business day, but cash transfer times vary between lenders and may depend on your own financial institution. We cannot promise a timeline on a lender's behalf.
08What is a tribal lender?
Some lenders in our network are tribal entities operating within the jurisdiction of federally recognized Indian tribes. Their rates and fees may be higher than state-licensed lenders and are not subject to state lending laws or rate caps. Loans from tribal lenders are governed by tribal law and applicable federal law, so review the terms carefully before accepting.
09Do you sell my information to anyone who asks?
No. We share what you submit with the three categories named above, and only once you give permission. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time through our privacy request page.
